Born and raised in the Garden State, I guess one would consider me a Jersey Girl. As a native of New Jersey, I attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick and earned my BA in Communication and Information Studies with a minor in Theater Arts. After graduating, I found myself at a full-time job in sales with a sense of unfulfillment. I remember sitting with my grandmother watching Live with Regis and Kelly and her saying to me, "You should be next to him, you have the personality and looks to be on tv.” I had dabbled in modeling in my teens, received first place at a local pageant, was a cheerleader in high school, and had taken the stage as a dancer for over ten years. I knew I loved to perform, but was I ready to leave the security of a full-time job and jump into the unknown? I thought of my grandmother's words so many times when contemplating that huge decision and what an incredible inspiration she had been to me, and realized I was ready for that next step. It was and continues to be the best decision I ever made. Being an actor, model, and author has allowed me to travel and meet so many amazing people over the years. In 2023, I decided to take another risk and launch my own women's sustainable footwear collection, Cassius Eco Fashion . Having worked as a shoe model for a myriad of years, I decided it was time to take the knowledge I had in the industry and create something bigger than fashion, a movement of collective action for future generations!
