"I Miss My Best Friend is an absolutely gorgeous book, designed to help

children understand losing a pet, it's skillfully written and beautifully illustrated.  Penelope Lagos has published a children's book that is heartfelt, meaningful and even brought a tear to my eye when I remembered losing my dog as a child.  A must have for any family."

A lovely and inspirational tail!

Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2021 by Reads-A-Lot

It’s the annual Paws n’ Claws Adoption Day! The biggest event of the year! In this beautifully rendered

tale, follow a group of furry pals in a shelter as they learn the importance of inner beauty, personal acceptance,

and the power of positivity.

“If we work hard, we can change people’s thinking.”

It’s sad how animals that are not perfect are often neglected. Cassius was considered an old dog,

which was the reason why he didn’t get adopted. But Cassius knew that he could do everything a younger

dog could and still held out hope that someone would see that too.

Then he found a little boy that looked beyond his “imperfection” and loved him for what he was.

“We are all unique, even animals…Different is beautiful.”

A lovely and inspirational tail!

          ALOT OF FIRSTS

Welcome....this is my first time "blogging", first time becoming an author and first time sharing the news that an independent publisher has agreed to publish my children's book. I may start an actual blog in the near future, but for now I just wanted to tell my current followers that my long time dream is coming to fruition. The book is entitled, "I Miss My Best Friend" and its a children's book on pet loss. My goal is to help others ease the suffering of losing their best friend. I dedicate this book in memory of my best friend, Cassius "The Legend" Lagos. The most loyal, loving, strong and beautiful dog I've ever met. Until we meet again.
